    From May 25th- September 3rd, 2012, you can purchase an all park pass at Food City or Bashas' for Golf N' Stuff for only $13.75 ($35 Value).  Summer Fun Discount Includes:  Miniature Golf, 4 Ride Attractions, and 4 Arcade Tokens. Discount tickets are only available at Bashas' and Food City.  You pay for the pass at the store, and they give you a printed ticket that you exchange at Golf N' Stuff for a wristband.  You must do all the activities in the same day.  Plan at minimum 2-3 hours to do everything on the wristband. You also need one ticket per person.  You can't share the wrist band. My kids LOVED this place.  I was amazed how much of the park was shaded and how the water in the park kept the temperature down on the miniature golf course.  My family is anxious to go back! Golf N Stuff is located at: 6503 E. Tanque Verde Road 520-296-2366
    3. THREE FUN Summer Reading Programs
    Pima County Library's Summer Reading Program starts May 24th and runs through July 21st.  The kids can earn prizes and discounts for reading.
    The library has great FREE activities for kids during the summer. Check their calendar online by selecting kids and your local branch to see everything going on this summer. My kids are excited to see Ronald McDonald in person at the library again this summer. They love the pizza making event and the ventriloquist and puppets that come to the library in the summer.

    Bookman's also offers a Reading Program for kids.  For every 10 books your child reads, they'll give you one free. What's the catch? You just have to write a short report telling them:
    * Your name and age
    * The title and author of the book
    * Why you liked or disliked the book
    You can even include drawings. When you've finished your 10 book reports, bring them to your favorite Bookmans and they'll reward you with a free book for all that hard work.

    Bookman's has FREE Kids Events starting May 29th and running weekly through July. I've taken my kids to these in the past. I suggest getting there early so your kids can see and fully participate in the activities. Click here to see the calendar of summer events for kids.

    Barnes & Noble Summer Reading - Imagination's Destination - Kids earn a FREE BOOK when they read any 8 books.

    Barnes and Noble's Reading Program Imagination's Destination starts May 22nd and ends September 4th.  If kids read 8 books this summer and record them in their Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Journal, they can go to Barnes and Noble and choose one of 18 FREE books from the book list on the back of the Journal. Barnes and Noble also offers FREE storytimes twice a week throughout the summer as well.  In June, one of their story times will include Decorate a foam tie for dad for Father's Day.

      4. Kids Bowl Free program
      http://bowldetroit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/kidsbowlfree.jpg
      Kids 18 and under can bowl 2 FREE games every day all summer long. What's the catch? You can not just show up and bowl for free. You must enroll your kids online at kidsbowlfree.com. When you register, you chose one of the 5 Vantage Bowling Centers participating in Tucson. Don't forget that you'll also need bowling shoes. You can rent shoes for $3 each time you go or you can bring your own bowling shoes. Even if you rent your shoes, $3 for 2 games of bowling is a bargain!      How the program works: 1.  All of the participating bowling centers are listed at http://www.kidsbowlfree.com/all_centers.php. 2.  Select a bowling center near you. 3.  Register directly on the bowling center page (The registration is valid only at the bowling center where you register and cannot be used at any other bowling center unless otherwise noted.) Once you register, you will have the opportunity to purchase the family pass. The Family Pass was created to allow for adult family members to enjoy bowling throughout the summer as well. The Family Pass starts from $24 .95 and includes 2 GAMES PER PERSON PER DAY. The Family Pass covers up to 4 adult family members. You may have 1, 2, 3, or 4 adults on the family pass.   How long does the program run?  Free bowling begins May 1st and the program ends August 31st. Every Sunday you will receive an email with the coupons for the free games for that coming week.
      What if parents want to bowl are their any special deals for them?   The family pass is an unbelievable deal for just $24.95 per family. Again the family pass is good for up to 4 adult family members (Mom, Dad, Older Siblings, Grandma, Grandpa or an Adult Babysitter) to bowl 2 games of bowling every day all summer long along with the children that have registered in your family.
      Family Passes are a limited time offer...   Each participating bowling center has a limited amount of family passes available and when they are gone, they are gone. We don't want you to miss out. The family pass is such a great deal that using your family pass just one time all summer may save you $$$ right away...but the family pass can be used every day all summer and has a value in excess of $1500.
