It’s summer: Free family events courtesy of the Pima County Public Library.

Ah, the great days of summer.
No school. No homework. Lots of free time.

Free time? Pima County Public Library will hold some family events during the summer as part of its annual Summer Reading Program.  The goal is to get the entire family involved together.


Saturday, July 17
Movie Night
Himmel Park outdoor amphitheater
1000 N. Tucson Blvd.
8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Catch a free screening of Endless Summer under the stars. Bring a picnic, sit back and relax. Please note, this event will be cancelled if bad weather occurs.

Sunday, July 25
Toros Game
Hi Corbett Field
700 S. Randolph Way
Gates open at 6 p.m. Game starts 7 p.m.
For all those who joined the Summer Reading Program. Reading program participants will find a free ticket to the game in the Summer Reading Adventure Pass they earned.
