12/4 My KOLD Money Saving Dinner Idea

Aunt Patty's Italian Barbecue (from 101 Things To Do With A Slow Cooker)

2 pounds frozen chuck roast
1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 tablespoon minced garlic
8-10 hamburger buns

Place meat in greased 3 1/2 to 4 1/2-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle dry seasoning mix and minced garlic over the top. Cover and cook on high heat 6-8 hours or on low heat 14-18 hours. Before serving, remove fat and shred meat with a fork or potato masher. Serve on warm hamburger buns. Makes 8-10 servings.

Note: Use thawed chuck roast, cover and cook on high heat for only 4-5 hours or on low heat 8-10 hours. You know this recipe is done when the meat just falls apart when separating with a fork.
